The American Montessori Academy offers new facilities with an inviting, stimulating environment where your child can be an active explorer. Our professional staff will strive to awaken children's interest in all subjects and to encourage in them a love of learning. We offer a multi-age program for children ages 2.5-Kindergarten and welcome children of all abilities.

    Following the teaching method of Maria Montessori, we believe that children teach themselves, while the directress provides the framework and support for learning. Our curriculum includes theory and enrichment, culture and science, practical life mathematics, language arts and geography. We also incorporate cultural studies, computers, sensorial development, music enrichment, physical education and the D’Nealian handwriting method. Our program has an Initiate membership with the American Montessori Society.

Rates

Full Day - 8:45 am-3:00 pm, $400 per month

Half Day - 8:45 am-12:00 pm, $300 per month

Classes meet Monday-Friday. There is a $50 nonrefundable enrollment fee. We offer a 10% tuition discount for siblings.

   Before and After care is available to children beginning at 7:00 a.m. until the time school begins and after school from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m.

    The cost for this service is $5 per hour. However, for families that will consistently utilize the service we also have a weekly and monthly rate.

   Rates:

            Hourly:   $5

            Weekly:  $40

            Monthly: $150

    The monthly fee must be prepaid at the beginning of each month.
